here’s to a little more jumping on beds in 2012

Thank you for your kind comments about Wyatt! He asked us since he became a Christian are they going to put it in the newspaper!

We started off the New Year by letting the boys jump on our bed. The look on Wyatt’s face was priceless. We don’t let them jump on their beds…booo on us. Maybe we are mean parents, but we want their mattresses to last them a long time and no broken bones would be nice. We decided every now and then some jumping on the bed can’t hurt much and actually gets out the wiggles…like a lot.

Oh girl. Our boys use to jump and wrestle on our beds frequently until they all got big enough to do more damage than we wanted. One day I was changing the linens on our king size bed and the entire side was split open and I could see it's insides. Not a very fun realization for a mama who needs beds to last a long time. I'm with ya! Every now and then is great, though. :)
