10

I don’t know how 10 years have already gone by.
I still remember the excitement we had when we are about to meet our baby boy.
We couldn’t wait to see what you would look like and we couldn’t wait to hold you in our arms.
It really has been a blink of the eye.

In ten years you have experienced so much.
You have become a big brother twice.
Moved 4 times.
Experienced a very close death in our family.
You have been to Colorado 3 times with Young Life, learned to ride a bike in Michigan at a YL camp, you have caught dozens of frogs and lizards.
You have hiked mountains and swam in frigid cold streams.
You have gone down a zip line in Colorado and in North Carolina.
You have learned to shoot a bow and arrow and got our entire family interested in hunting.
You have loved to play baseball, basketball and football.
You have invented things.
Researched animals, insects, states, sports, rocks, electronics and it keeps going.
You have the best laugh that is so contagious!
You have a strong desire for people to follow the “rules”…in life.
You have told me you are going to be an Animal Control Officer, surf board designer, Navy Seal, a banker and recently an electrician.
You talk about going to college, writing in cursive, and taking notes because you want “paper work”.

You are one of our greatest adventures Andrew Wyatt.
