spring break 2014

Wyatt had Spring Break this past week. Andy was out of town for most of it so in an attempt to make it “fun” for him here’s what we did:

We went to the library and Wyatt checked out a ton of books. It’s like shopping without spending money…unless you have late fees. 
We bought Lucky Charms. No offense to anyone who buys Lucky Charms on a regular basis. We just buy it on vacation and this is sort of a vacation…and the reason for that is I would be the one eating the entire box each night when the kids went to bed. Trust me.

We rented Despicable Me 2. It’s funny. You wouldn’t be able to tell by the picture. But it’s a good movie. Josie’s face makes me laugh.

 
Car wash. Enough said.
    

We went to the pet store. It’s quite the interesting place.

 
We also went to the Children’s Museum and within 15 minutes his ear was killing him. So we ended up not staying. Drove 30 minutes back home with him wailing. It was awful. I’ve never seen him in so much pain. I gave him some ibuprofen which helped tremendously.
 
We were able to get an appointment to see the Doc. He also took this rice pack with him. It’s great people. You just heat in your microwave and bam. Great for aches and pains. Your neck. A headache. Put it in your bed to warm it up. And an ear ache. When we got to the waiting room I asked him where do you want to sit? And his response was in your lap.

 
My sweet Mama kept the kids and I went to the airport to get this guy.

And to finish up our break…the “hot tub”. Swimsuits, goggles and toys. And bubbles. They played forever. My floor is a danger zone from all the water but they had a great time.
