january cellphone diaries: we made it

Thank you Lord. Seriously. January is a hard month for me. Christmas over. Kids stir crazy. Winter blues. BUT God got me, us, through it. It was a good month. A month that seemed to go extra quickly for some reason. I look forward to February because then Spring Break is around the corner and then school begins to wind down which also means warmer weather. The Lord has shown me MUCH beauty this winter. Even with dead grass. No leaves on the trees. Overcast days. Cold cold cold, windy days. God has opened my eyes to see the deeper beauty in these things that he has created. I don’t think we would appreciate Spring as much if we didn’t have a little Winter in us.
