a crown

 

Boone drew this picture for me this morning. That’s our family. He told me he was sorry he drew Josie so big. But actually it’s probably pretty accurate. She plays a big part in needing all my attention right now.  

He told me “that’s Mommy and that’s a crown”. Immediately I wondered…was that from the Lord…

“…and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.”
