october cellphone diaries

Thinking of our “happy place”. Thinking of the warm sunshine on my face…especially with the cold, grey, winter months approaching. Emotionally, it’s my hardest time of year. Thankful God has provided trips to the beach to restore my soul.

October: Josie found her loves of purses. Boone LOVES his stuffed animals. We started taking evening walks after dinner and it’s been so good for us all to get some fresh air and get the wiggles out. Love that my kids love the library. We persevered through Boone’s first season playing soccer. Little people in little rocking chairs. Found Boone sitting on the Bumbo…he told me he was sitting on his nest and waiting for his eggs to hatch! Trip to Home Depot…Daddy had some cute little helpers. Cool evening walks and gazing up at the clouds. My “new” gym membership…a double jogger…that needs to be used more often!

Josie wore jeans for the first time. I went on a field trip with my big kid. Forgiven. Wyatt in his “weather/work station”. He is a lover of all graphs and maps. Thankful for God’s promises. Josie loved the Fall leaves. We had YL club at our house again… thankful for a home to be able to do this!  God showing his love, mercy and faithfulness in the sky!!! Boone and his cowboy outfit he wore to get Wyatt from school. Who needs toys when you can turn kleenex boxes into shoes!

My little buckaroo for his cowboy day at school. Toys are overrated. Be still my heart…Josie rocking her baby before she takes a nap! And pumpkin carving with the 3 buckaroos!

I feel like I just blinked my eyes…didn’t we just have Halloween and now Thanksgiving is next week?! How is that possible. Christmas is just around the corner and I have got to get on the ball with my Christmas gifts!!!
