Ok...I have waited awhile to say anything on the blog but.....ta da.....Wyatt is wearing underwear!!! Let's put it this way....I still most of the time have to tell him to go to the potty and he wears diapers at night but other than that the child is wearing underwear and loving it. You know who else is loving it? ME! So is it safe to say he is potty trained? He has still had a few accidents (sorry Helen and Beckett's mom, sorry Autumn's mom) but I knew both those times I should have told him to go to the bathroom and just waited too long. So after a year on and off of countless bribes with M&M's, jellybeans, marshmellows, random $1 store toys, letting him pick out the underwear he would like us to buy, charts, stickers on charts, letting him have accidents to get the feeling that this doesn't feel good, reading potty books, getting a little potty his size, an insert potty lid so he doesn't fall in the big potty....after all these and NONE OF THEM WORKED-he finally decided a few weeks back that 3 year olds wear underwear and not diapers anymore. It was his decision, seriously, he decided on his own and what a difference it's made. He was just not ready the other 1239870433986769786356103489 times we tried.
