Styrofoam and Grandparents
Yesterday we received a package in the mail and look what was inside? Styrofoam "popcorn"! This package arrived at the perfect time because Wyatt did not take a very long nap, actually I'm not sure if he did nap...so this entertained him for about 15 minutes. He even shared with Boone and put some on his bouncy seat for him. And yes, that is Wyatt still in his pajamas at 3:30 in the afternoon.
We are so grateful for our parents who are so willing to help babysit. We really are so blessed and fortunate to have my parents in the same town as us and Andy's dad and step-mom about 50 minutes from us.
Papaw and Nana came and picked up Wyatt Sunday to spend 2 nights with them. And can you guess what Wyatt did during his stay? He rode Poncho the Pony! Papaw saddled him up for Wyatt to ride and Nana made him blueberry pancakes for breakfast the next morning. He was able to spend time with his Aunt Megan and Uncle Jerrod and we were so very grateful for them to all to care for and love on Wyatt.
Today my dad, Ddad, picked up Wyatt and took him to Home Depot to look at tools. Right now this is what Wyatt is all about. Any opportunity he gets he wants to work in the garage with Daddy or fix something in the house. His favorite tool at the moment is his "big hammer" that he has in his hand 90% of the day.
These outings/getaways have been so helpful for us to be able to bond with Boone and for Wyatt to spend time with his family.
Thank you Grandparents...we love you!
